Throughout my years of acquiring these highly affordable and beautifully long lasting Wet 'n' Wild Mega Last Lipsticks, I've actually used up a couple shades I've owned, I've pitched some in the bin, and some, well, I have even repurchased a time or two, for different reasons! These are some of the lowest-priced lipsticks on the market today, at a solid $2 a bullet. There may be a small deviation from that price depending on where you purchase, that company's rewards/points systems, BOGO's, and such may have an effect. I've learned to overlook the less-than-functional packaging and staining some of the shades seem to produce, and just enjoy them for what they offer: a satin finish, affordability, the fact that they are indeed cruelty free, and the overall ease of application. The highly saturated pigment is uniform across the board for these, so that doesn't hurt, either!

FOTD: Autumn Leaves | Glittery Warm Brown Smokey Eye & Neutral Lips
🎃🎃
Since today is All Hollow's Eve, I decided to go with a spicy, glittery brown smokey eye look today! It looks a bit warmer in person, and I gotta say, I don't really sport the whole costume look in the week leading up to Halloween, or even the day itself, be it a witch, goblin, fairy, a sprite....you name it. I just never really put in any effort to celebrate Halloween, and never really do any crazy costumes or makeup, and I s'pose I'm just keeping that tradition going for this year! I do, however, definitely get into some Lovecraft/Poe horror story mashup reading marathons every year, but eh, it doesn't even have to be close to Halloween for me to do that. 😄 I read spooky and cosmic horror stuff all the time, regardless of the season.
Every autumn, I really enjoy visiting the cider mill and pumpkin patches, seeing the changing of the leaves' colors, and just breathing in the the crisper autumn air makes me elated, as it does many other people. The gradual changing colors of the leaves was where the color palette for the look was inspired, so you will see some beautiful green peeking out from beneath the eyes! Continue on for the products I used to achieve this look!

FOTD: A Recreation of KathleenLights Chocolate Bar Palette Tutorial!
Hello everyone! I don't think I've expressed my undying love for the gorgeous, amazing Kathleen from KathleenLights on my blog. And I decided, what better way to do that than to recreate one of my favorite looks of hers, which is her Neutral Holiday Glam Tutorial (watch it here).

EOTD: 'Bridal Inspired' Gold & Olive Eye Makeup featuring LORAC Cosmetics
Hello lovelies! In light of the holiday season, I decided to dig out my much-used and much-loved LORAC Sweet Temptations Eyeshadow Palettes for this bridal inspired look. I had to incorporate my matte crease shades from other palettes (the beloved Sonia Kashuk Eye on Neutral palette was one of them), as these LORAC palettes are loaded with shimmer and shine. This set from LORAC includes four gorgeously packaged candy bar-style eyeshadow palettes, and it was just one unit of a beautifully monstrous collection that they released for the holidays last year, and it was in fact limited edition, and is no longer available.

| Eyes of the Day | featuring Sephora + PANTONE UNIVERSE Elemental Energy Eyeshadow Palette
Hey everyone! Wow, I can't believe spring is finally here! I'm definitely going to the park today to enjoy this beautiful weather, but I wanted to get this posted while I could. I have been playing around with this bad boy eyeshadow palette from Sephora + PANTONE. My review of this palette will hopefully be up by tomorrow!
| Sephora + PANTONE UNIVERSE Elemental Energy Eyeshadow Palette |
Here is the back of the palette (both pictures match the quadrants' positions; top (L) green-toned quad is 'Earth,' top (R) barely-there quad is 'Air,' bottom (L) burnished copper and pink quad is 'Fire,' and bottom (R) aquatic blue quad is 'Water'
Until the review, here is a soft, subdued neutral look I created with this palette! (Please excuse my unruly brows; the closer up they are, the more apparently bad they look; I could pluck them and shape them to the end of their days but they would still grow back full and mad-looking a day later. Haha oh, genetics)
I didn't restrict this eyeshadow look to one particular quad, or element, rather, but I did use 2 shades from the Earth quad (Gingersnap and Pebble), 1 shade from the Air quad (Murmur), and 1 shade from the Fire quad (Dawn). More details about shadow placement are in the product breakdown below.
